Warriors 2 shut out in Sheffield

On Saturday 1st March Warriors 2 played their fourth IHSC Development division game. This time they were facing Sheffield Blazers ‘B’ at Ice Sheffield.

Summary

The Warriors faced a very strong Blazers team, who iced a few familiar faces from their A team. But regardless of that, this was not a good day at the office for our Warriors boys.

Given that this was the team’s fourth consecutive defeat, it highlights how much of a blow it has been to lose forward, Tom Cokill. Tom was consistently amongst the goals and always an offensive threat.

The team have also had to face teams which have iced a few players of ‘A’ team ability which has made life a lot harder.

Final score:

Blazers 12-0 Warriors

Player of the Game for the Warriors was netminder Joe Quinn, whilst Stu Nelson picked up the MVP Helmet. Well played lads!
