Warriors 2 in IHSC derby day massacre
Warriors 2 played their second IHSC ‘Development’ division game, following a 4-6 loss to Sheffield Ice Tigers B last month. This time, they faced city rivals, Leeds Lightning ‘B’.

Summary
It was clear from the opening exchanges that the Warriors were facing an overwhelmingly strong Lightning ‘B’ team, far beyond the typical ‘development’ level. Struggling to break out of their defensive zone, they relied on netminder Joe Quinn to keep the score respectable. Despite the mis-match, Captain Howard Barwick managed to score the Warriors’ lone goal in the second period, assisted by Adam Tomlinson and Andrew Hughes.
