Warriors 1 and 2 re-match against Cleveland Comets

Warriors 1 and 2 will take on Cleveland Comets A and B teams on Saturday 14th May at Planet Ice, Leeds.

You may remember that our 1st and 2nd teams played the Comets on 27th March at Billingham Ice Forum where the 1st team lost 10-6 and the 2nd team won 15-1.

This gives our Warriors 1 team an opportunity to even things up. I’m sure coach Alex Jones will make sure the guys are well prepared and highly motivated for this one.

Unfortunately, the 1st team will be without 7 players :

Wes Nixon (F), Ash Pryce (F), Sam Forrester (D), Paddy Horner (D), James Way (D), and both Adam (D) and Will Gibbons (F).

Whilst this is a blow to Warriors 1, they are still icing 3 strong lines. Newcomer Jacob King will also be making his debut in D.

This is a checking game and is the first game of this type for any Warriors team since forming in August 2020.

Both games are sure to be entertaining, so come down and cheer the guys on.
