1st period

With only four minutes having elapsed in the first period, the hosts opened the scoring. But the Warriors dug in and the remainder of the period was a tight affair with both teams engaged in a stalemate. The period ended with only one goal between the teams.

Ice Wolves White 1 Warriors Black 0

2nd period

The second period was another hard fought battle with not much between the teams. Unfortunately for the Warriors, despite bravely keeping the Ice Wolves at bay for the majority of the period, the hosts netted twice in the final two minutes of play. This was a major blow for the visitors as they went into the final period 3-0 down.

Ice Wolves White 3 Warriors Black 0

3rd period

With a three goal deficit going into the final period, the Warriors needed a strong finish to the game. None of the players heads went down and they continued to battle.

The Ice Wolves bagged another two quick goals in the 49th minute to effectively kill the game. But, the Warriors responded quickly - in the 50th minute Captain Matt Dudley got the team on the scoresheet to reduce the deficit slightly at 5-1.

With only ten minutes of the game to play, the Warriors seemed to tire and gave up chances to the Ice Wolves who scored three more goals during that period.

Final score:
