Sam Forrester - Coach

Sam has a wealth of hockey experience, having been involved in hockey since a young age - playing in both Blackburn and Hull.

Sam joined Leeds Warriors in January 2022 and quickly established himself as a voice in the locker room and a leader on the bench.

Within a few months, Sam took over from Darren Wilson as the coach of Warriors 2.

Shortly after this, when Rich Williams stepped down, Sam got the votes that made him the club’s second ever Chairman.

 

Sam now takes over from Alex Jones in the Warriors 1 hot-seat.

Whilst it’s sad to see Alex go, we’re happy to have Sam as our coach and have every confidence in his abilities.
