Born in Derby, Lewis only discovered ice hockey when studying in Grimsby as an adult.

He went to open sessions - and by the second week he found some spare goalie pads, strapped them on and never looked back.

He has played and trained for a range of teams during his hockey life - Grimsby Stormers, Ice Bears, Lightning and Bradford Ice Wolves.

Lewis was snapped up by the Warriors after having an informal trial during a training session. From that first session, it was clear Lewis had a great command of his goal and was going to push hard for the number one spot.
