Andy started playing at 10 years old in Grimsby and progressed through the youth teams before heading over to Hull, where he captained Humberside’s U21s to the National Championship, and went on to play a season with the Humberside Hawks in the BPL and for the Jets in ED1.

After a break of 13 years, and while living in the US, Andy played rec hockey in the San Francisco beer league with the SF Ruins for a few years. He moved back to the UK in June 2020 and joined the Warriors a year later.
